I know we're already almost halfway through October (which is honestly insane), but I'm getting caught up on Inktober drawings. For those not familiar with Inktober, it's a a drawing challenge with a prompt for every day through the month of October. It's a fun exercise to get into a creative flow, practice your art, or just for something fun to do. I would also like to note that "proper Inktober" is for pen-and-ink drawings - which I do love to do. However, I've been absolutely drained the last few weeks, so Procreate is the best I have in me right now. Sometimes just "doing" with what you have is better than nothing. So if you want to participate and think, "Well I don't have proper inking pens/paper/etc." don't stress. This is for YOU. Just like mine is for me. I greatly appreciate those that participate in the full spirit of the challenge, but I'm just going to go the get-'er-done route this year. 😆
The pictures I posted below are for prompts mustache, weave, and murky - though I'll be honest. The spider (for 'weave') I drew in July, and I just. love. her. and wanted to use her again. I figured she fit the theme anyway! As I get caught up, I'll continue to post more drawings. If anyone else is doing any sort of October challenge - or really does any art of any kind - I'd love to hear about it/see it!
And if anyone wants to participate in Inktober, I've linked the official website as well as provided the prompts:
Also, I did mention Drawlloween. I know there are several folks that do this now, but I'm linking to and providing the post from the first person I saw do it, which is @mabgraves:
